What is Getlow?
GETLOW® is a beat-driven low impact workout designed to ignite your mind, move your body & improve your wellbeing. This 45 minute full body workout uses boxing, dance, dumbbells, light cardio & seriously good music to transform your mind & body.
It is suitable for everyone including Generation X, Baby Boomers, Pre and Post Natal, Injury Recovery and the Uncoordinated. Your two left feet are welcome here!
Benefits of Low Impact Exercise
Kind on joints
Low impact exercise is gentle in nature so it reduces the risk of joint strain and injury. Low intensity moves promote better joint health by minimising wear and tear while still encouraging flexibility.
Improves strength, balance and stability
A particular concern for older adults is falls. Maintaining good balance and stability is crucial in preventing injury. Low impact dance moves can help improve a sense of balance as well as increase muscle strength.
Improves mood and boosts mental well-being
Engaging in physical activity releases endorphins which are natural mood boosters. Combine that with feel good music and you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment and capability, therefore enhancing overall mental health.

About Me
Hi there I'm Krystal! A busy mum to one beautiful boy, I'm originally from Melbourne and lover of all things music and dance!
I have a particular love for older music, so expect in my classes to go back in time as you move to songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. With easy to follow steps, you’ll be having so much fun that you'll forget you are exercising!
Be prepared to have a laugh as you'll be subject to my terrible singing and dorky mum jokes! But I promise you'll leave class sweaty, fulfilled and soon declaring it as your new happy place!

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring a water bottle, towel, your smile and a set of 1kg-2kg dumbbells. The weights are optional but are beneficial as we do a weights track every class.
I am really uncoordinated, can I still do this class?
I am injured, can I still do this class?
It depends on your injury of course, but in some cases yes. The benefit of this low impact workout is that the moves are kind on joints and perfect for gentle injury recovery. There are also always further modifications. Please see me before class about your injury.
